#ShowUsYourSheetload

How I use my leftover Designer Series Paper (DSP)

I #LoveItChopIt and now I #ShowUsYourSheetload. What?!

I enjoy watching a fun YouTube artist called Alicia, of Call Me {Crafty} Al, who hosts a monthly challenge called Sheetload of Cards. Each month she creates and shares a fabulous PDF showing how to make usually 8 cards from two pieces of patterned paper (sometimes 12x12 and sometimes 6x6) and some cardstock. The printable PDF is so handy - with measurements, templates, and instructions. And, she shares it FREE if you subscribe to her YouTube channel - Call Me {Crafty} Al. It's like a recipe for homemade cards -- and who doesn't want to whip up a new batch of cards every month?!

Above is my take on September's Sheetload of Cards. While the PDF is geared toward two 12x12 pieces of patterned paper, I challenged myself to alter the instructions and use up some leftover 6x6 Christmas DSP from my stash. The patterned paper and some of the embellishments were from last year's Most Wonderful Time product medley. The sentiment is from this year's Merriest Moments (156353). I filled in with trees cut from the FREE Be Dazzling Sale-A-Bration specialty paper cut with the Christmas Trees dies (156339) from the July-December (holiday) Mini Catalog. That pretty die cut bow comes with the Pierced Blooms dies (154312) - those dies are one of the best values in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog!

The card bases are simply Basic White - Thick (159229) cardstock and the coordinating cardstock is gold foil sheets (132622). How simple is that? If you'd like to use up a sheetload of that hoarded patterned paper, I challenge you to give #SheetloadOfCards a try!
