Sometimes there are reasons to "stay inside the lines". Other times, it's fine to go "freestyle". This new stamp set, called Color & Contour, has so many free form, hand drawn images and fonts that you just feel comfortably happy creating with it. The set's coordinating die set, called Scalloped Contours dies, feels fancy and put together. Not quite the opposite, but together these two might be the yin and yang bundle of the 2021-22 Annual Catalog!
Here's another card I made using the stamps:
It's a Flip-n-Pop card showing off the squiggly floral stem and splatters of ink. You can see the utilitarian font used for the "You're absolutely" and then the hand drawn font on the word "amazing".
The scalloped and stitched rectangles and border dies in Scalloped Contours are at once four straight sides, but they're so much more fun when they've got scalloped edges, cutouts, and stitchery elements. Such a satisfying combination.
