Make It Monday...
I love making good use of my craft goodies, don't you?! I've made a 3-fer with just half a sheet of the fabulous new Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper and the Biggest Wish stamp set. I feel like these two simple products can really help me build my card stash. Wanna see how?
Using just half a sheet of the 12x12 DSP, I created three gorgeous cards! I simply trimmed off a 6" x 12" piece of this particular sheet of DSP (and there are LOADS of others you can select), then trimmed that piece into three 4" x 6" pieces and did a bit of a "haircut" by trimming off 3/4" from the solid white bottom. I wanted to capitalize on the awesome alcohol ink image that fills the top of these.
Next, I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of gold foil for a mat behind my stamped layer. Before I adhered the layer onto the gold mat, I die cut several pieces right out of the middle with my Pierced Blooms dies! I'll use those later but didn't waste a bit of my gold mat.
I stamped the big, bold HAPPY with Granny Apple Green ink and the elegant "birthday" with Shaded Spruce ink. So pretty!
I mounted the gold mat and stamped layer onto Pear Pizzazz card bases then blinged the fronts with Gilded Gems. Three 'fer Half! I hope you'll give it a try.
