MAKE IT MONDAY

It's Monday, so here's something awesome to look forward to:

It's just a little stamp set, adorable and sweet. Perfect sentiments and fonts, with clean images to put a smile on your face + brighten your day. It's called Press On and will be available in just a few days - August 4, to be exact. You can grab yours on August 4 by clicking on the SHOP WITH SHANNON button above or click the product(s) below.

I'd also like to plug a few other new items from the August-December Mini Catalog that I used to create this card and treat box. The Plaid Tidings suite has the nicest 6x6 plaid DSP in so many perfect colors for autumn and winter holidays. The stamp and die bundle, called Celebration Tidings, is where I got that pretty label shape I used for the top and bottom of the treat box. And the embroidered ribbon, so soft and workable, is also from the suite.

Here's how I made the card:
  • Cut Crumb Cake cardstock to 4-1/4" x 11" and score at 5-1/2"; crease with a bone folder.
  • Use VersaMark ink and the coffee beans image to randomly stamp all over card front.
  • Trim a piece of Pumpkin Pie/Mango Melody plaid DSP to 1-7/8" x 5-1/2" and adhere to left side of card front.
  • Punch a half-slot using a handheld hole punch onto the folded crease at the top of the card (about 1" from the left). Wrap linen twine through the hole, slip on a Playful Pets heart trinket, and tie a loopy bow.
  • The center panel was created by cutting a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 3" wide. Wipe or drag a Classic Stamp Pad (I used Mango Melody) over the cardstock piece, lifting up about 3" down the paper.
  • When the ink dries, stamp the "All you need is..." sentiment and the row of coffee cups onto the panel and trim off where you like. I chose to trim below the area where the ink ended because I liked the grungy effect! Pop up this panel in the center of the card front with its left side tucked under the thread.
  • Adhere a Whisper White interior panel cut to 4" x 5-1/4" with the sentiment "Press On" stamped in the center and a scrap of the same plaid DSP adhered to the left side.
